Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Cyber Data Analyst to sit 3 days onsite in Alexandria, VA, supporting cybersecurity data initiatives across the Department of War (DOW). This role is focused on improving data quality, reporting accuracy, and overall program visibility across two primary data streams: the DOW Cybersecurity Hardening Scorecard and Comply-to-Connect (C2C).

This individual will split time roughly evenly across both workstreams, reviewing, validating, and analyzing data to ensure integrity and usability. They will partner closely with stakeholders to identify data gaps, recommend improvements to how data is collected, and enhance reporting methodologies to better support decision-making.

On the DOW Cybersecurity Hardening Scorecard side, the analyst will evaluate data tied to User Activity Monitoring (UAM) compliance, ensuring accuracy and helping refine data collection questions to better align with reporting needs. For C2C data, this role will focus heavily on addressing existing data quality issues, validating both raw data and DISA-provided dashboards, and identifying inconsistencies or gaps across datasets.

This individual will also be responsible for building quick-turn solutions to accelerate reporting timelines, including developing custom or ad hoc PowerBI dashboards when existing processes are too slow to meet mission needs. They will perform data analysis, comparisons, and trend tracking to support program visibility and leadership reporting.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working with imperfect datasets, and proactive in identifying inefficiencies and building solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation:
$55.09/hr to $60.09/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment. Additionally, employees in this role will have access to paid sick leave and other paid time off benefits as required under the applicable law of the worksite location.
