Job Description
An employer in the Arlington, VA area is seeking a Top Secret Acquisition and Contracts Professional for a direct hire opportunity. This individual will serve as a key liaison between government stakeholders and internal teams, supporting both pre- and post-award contract activities. Responsibilities include drafting and reviewing program documentation to ensure compliance with DoD regulations, analyzing acquisition materials such as strategies, statements of work, contracts, and funding documents, and supporting procurement package development. The role also involves providing guidance on acquisition policies, identifying risks, and recommending best practices to drive program success. Additionally, this individual will build strong stakeholder relationships, support program coordination efforts, and mentor junior team members. This position requires 25% travel to customer sites and full-time onsite presence, and candidates must hold an active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

Required Skills & Experience
Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
Bachelor’s Degree
7+ years of experience managing contracts, including administration, negotiations, and proposal development
Experience working with different contract types (fixed-price, time & materials, cost-reimbursable)
Experience negotiating agreements with partners (teaming agreements, NDAs, and subcontracts)
Experience negotiating teaming, non-disclosure, and subcontract agreements from the subcontractor role with industry partners
Experience reviewing terms and conditions and SOW for areas of risk and risk mitigation in accordance with company policies and procedures
Experience with DoD Acquisition
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
10+ years of experience
Experience with major weapon systems of fighter jets
Active TS/SCI security clearance
Master’s Degree
PMP, DAU, or NCMA Certification
Knowledge of DoD 5000 series policies, procedures, and processes
Knowledge of DoD requirements and budget processes
