Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Technical Project Manager to support a leading telecommunications provider’s public sector division in Herdon, VA. This individual will serve as the single point of contact for non-routine to moderately complex installation projects for communication networks. The position reports to the Manager Federal Programs and is an integral part of the Government Programs Project Management Office (GPPMO).
The Sr. Technical Project Manager works with a team of Technical Project Managers and Coordinator Technical Projects staff and is accountable for meeting contractual performance criteria and due dates during service delivery, and successful overall project completion. The position will also be responsible for the tracking of US government accountable property, via both electronic tracking and visits to sites to confirm location of the materials. The role will require the submission of reports to the customer, along with weekly and monthly status updates to the customer on accountable metrics. The candidate will be the identified as the Responsibility Officer for the program with the customer. This is a permanent position that will work on-site in a SCIF in Herdon, VA Monday-Friday from 7:00a-4:00p. Salary range is $91,266 - $120,000 with a 10% bonus in March of next year with a comprehensive benefits package.

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in project management, technical management, business management, communications, engineering, or related discipline
• Minimum two years of experience as a Technical Project Manager
• Experience working within the telecommunications industry including network service and provisioning
• Candidate must have hold a clearance with the US Government, at the Top Secret/SCI level, with an active Polygraph. US Citizenship required
