Job Description

Day-to-Day:

Oversee general ledger activity related to sales and purchasing functions
Ensure accurate accounting for revenue, margin, inventory, fixed assets, and balance sheet items
Lead month-end and year-end close, including journal entries and reconciliations
Prepare and analyze GAAP-compliant financial statements
Supervise and mentor GL accounting staff
Partner with Director of Accounting on internal controls, audits, and compliance
Collaborate with operational accounting teams to ensure accurate GL reporting
Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and accuracy


Job Description:
Insight Global is seeking a Financial Accounting Manager for a top clean energy and EV infrastructure client. This individual will lead day-to-day general ledger accounting operations, manage the close process, and ensure accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP. The ideal candidate is a CPA with strong leadership experience who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment and enjoys partnering cross-functionally to improve processes, strengthen controls, and support business scalability.

Salary Range: $110,000-$130,000

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or higher)
CPA required
7–10 years of progressive accounting experience
2–4 years in a leadership or supervisory role
Experience as an Accounting Manager, Supervisor, or strong Senior Accountant
Strong knowledge of GAAP
Experience leading month-end and year-end close
Proven experience preparing and analyzing financial statements
Ability to supervise, mentor, and review work of accounting staff
High attention to detail with ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with Business Central or similar ERP systems
Background supporting construction, engineering, IT, or consulting environments
Experience partnering closely with operational accounting teams (O2C, P2P)
Process improvement and internal controls optimization experience
Audit support experience
