We are seeking a highly skilled GitLab Platform Engineer to support and scale a self-managed GitLab environment and enterprise CI/CD ecosystem. This role is responsible for administering the GitLab platform, designing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring secure, automated software delivery across cloud and hybrid environments. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience with GitLab administration (not just usage), strong knowledge of infrastructure-as-code practices, and the ability to integrate security, artifact management, and Kubernetes-based workflows into a cohesive DevOps platform.

Required Skills & Experience
- Overall 10+ years of experience in DevOps/Platform engineering or related
- 6+ years of hands-on GitLab self-managed administration including upgrades, backups, HA, and performance tuning
- Experience designing CI/CD pipelines using reusable templates, parent/child pipelines, and integrations with JFrog and Wiz
- Strong experience managing GitLab Runners at scale, including Kubernetes executor on EKS
- Experience with SAML, SSO, LDAP integrations and role-based access control across GitLab
- Proficiency in Terraform and IaC including GitLab provider usage
- Experience supporting AWS cloud environments and GitLab integrations with cloud services
- Strong troubleshooting skills across pipelines, runners, and platform performance
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience with GitLab Geo for replication and disaster recovery
- Experience managing GitLab Container - Registry and Package Registry
experience with GitLab migrations or large-scale version upgrades
experience integrating GitLab with
- Kubernetes/EKS for CI/CD and deployments
familiarity with FedRAMP, IL5, NIST 800-53, or ATO processes
