Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a AI/ML Engineer to sit on site in Reston, Virginia. This person will support the development and deployment of advanced machine learning and computer vision solutions. This role will focus on translating research-driven algorithms into real-world applications, particularly within image and video analysis environments.
This individual will work across the full ML lifecycle—from data preprocessing and model development to evaluation and deployment—while collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions into operational workflows. The ideal candidate is analytical, curious, and comfortable working in structured, high-impact environments.

Required Skills & Experience

- 3+ years of experience in machine learning, computer vision, or data science
- Active TS/SCI Clearance
- Strong Python experience and proficiency with ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
- Hands-on experience working with image and/or video data
- Experience with data preprocessing, cleansing, validation, and large dataset analysis
- Ability to implement algorithms from technical papers or research documentation
- Experience evaluating model performance (accuracy, precision, recall, ROC/AUC, etc.)
- Familiarity with Linux environments and version control (e.g., Git)
- Certifications in machine learning, data science, or related fields
