Job Description

Insight Global is hiring for a client seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee systems integration projects from planning through completion. The ideal candidate will bring strong project management expertise along with a working knowledge of access control, CCTV/security camera systems, structured cabling, and fire alarm systems. This role will be responsible for coordinating with customers, technicians, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with quality standards.

-Manage full project lifecycle from planning through closeout
-Oversee low-voltage systems projects (access control, CCTV, cabling)
-Coordinate with customers on scope, timelines, and deliverables
-Review drawings, specs, schedules, and change orders
-Lead and coordinate technicians, subcontractors, and vendors
-Track budgets, timelines, materials, and project progress
-Identify risks/issues and drive timely resolutions
-Ensure compliance with quality standards, codes, and safety requirements
-Coordinate materials, equipment, and site logistics
-Run project meetings, site walks, and provide client updates
-Support field teams with troubleshooting and coordination
-Maintain accurate project documentation and closeout -materials
-Partner with internal teams (sales, engineering, ops, accounting)

Required Skills & Experience

-5+ years of project management experience in low voltage, security, fire alarm, electrical, construction, or systems integration (preferred)
-Knowledge of access control systems, including card readers, door hardware, controllers, credentials, and related components
-Knowledge of security camera/CCTV systems, including IP cameras, NVRs, VMS platforms, cabling, and mounting requirements
-Understanding of structured cabling, including Cat5e/Cat6/Cat6A, fiber, racks, patch panels, labeling, testing, and documentation
-Ability to read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, riser diagrams, wiring diagrams, and project specifications
-Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
-Experience working with general contractors, electrical contractors, end users, facility managers, and inspectors
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, project management software, and scheduling tools
-Valid driver’s license required

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Industry certifications such as PMP, NICET, OSHA, LenelS2, Genetec, Avigilon, Axis, Bosch, Honeywell, or similar
-Fire alarm knowledge preferred, including familiarity with devices, panels, code requirements, inspections, and coordination with AHJs
