Job Description

The Local Supply Planner is responsible for driving and optimizing the supply chain management in the mid-term planning horizon for the factory. Answering the questions: What needs to be done in order to meet the expected demand? What needs to be done when? What are the risks in the supply chain going through the factory?

Lead and coordinate factory supply chain activities while aligning with product group objectives.
Manage the monthly local supply review cycle and support decision-making to address supply risks and gaps.
Develop and maintain local stock strategies (SI, NI, RI, BI) in alignment with product group direction.
Oversee local inventory management processes and ensure component planning data remains accurate and up to date.
Translate demand inputs from the Central Business Unit into component-level forecasts and incorporate local business insights to refine projections.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the local supply chain and contribute to global supply chain enhancements.
Track and report supply chain performance metrics to support the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
Execute administrative responsibilities in accordance with established SOPs.
Actively participate in Status Board meetings and contribute to problem resolution and improvement initiatives.
Recommend and implement enhancements to standard operating procedures.
Promote waste reduction and efficiency in all supply chain activities.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree mandatory; specialization in Industrial Engineering preferred.
5 years of experience in supply chain planning mandatory; working in manufacturing experience is mandatory for this position.
Knowledge with ERP systems.
Strategical planning thinking.
Good understanding of supply chain networks.
