Insight Global is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead electrical construction projects within data center environments across Northern Virginia. This individual will be responsible for full project ownership, including financial performance, scheduling, team leadership, and client relationships. The ideal candidate has a strong electrical background, thrives in fast-paced construction settings, and brings a solutions-oriented mindset to complex projects.
Day-to-Day:
• Own execution of electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Manage budgets, cost projections, and monthly WIP reporting
• Develop and maintain project schedules and milestone tracking
• Lead communication with clients, GCs, designers, and subcontractors
• Review, price, and negotiate change orders
• Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractors
• Ensure jobsite safety compliance and quality standards
• Mentor and develop APMs and project staff
• Drive client satisfaction and identify opportunities for repeat business

Required Skills & Experience
Must-Haves:
• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in electrical construction
• Data center construction experience (or strong industrial electrical background)
• Proven ownership of project budgets, schedules, and contracts
• Experience managing change orders, billings, and cash flow
• Ability to lead APMs, Project Engineers, and field teams
• Experience working with union labor (IBEW) or willingness to join
• Strong understanding of:
○ Electrical scopes
○ Construction sequencing
○ Client-facing communication
