Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Power BI Subject Matter Expert with 5–7 years of experience in business intelligence and data analytics, including at least 3 years specializing in Power BI, local to Dahlgren, Virginia. This individual must have an active Top Secret Clearance or interim Top Secret clearance, and active AIT Level II certification (Security+), and 5-7 years' of experience in business intelligence and data analytics, including at least 3 years specializing in Power BI, to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-level Power BI dashboards and reports. This Power BI SME will partner with stakeholders to translate reporting needs into technical solutions and establish best practices around data modeling, governance, and performance. The ideal candidate is technically strong in Power BI, DAX, SQL, and ETL concepts, comfortable leading projects end-to-end, and capable of mentoring junior team members while operating in a high-security, mission-critical setting. The pay for this role ranges from $54-$56/hour, based on experience.

Required Skills & Experience
• IAT Level II certification (Security+)
• Active Top Secret clearance or interim Top Secret Clearance
• 5–7 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or related fields
• 3+ years of hands-on experience developing solutions in Power BI
• Strong expertise with Power BI, DAX, and Power Query
• Experience designing and optimizing data models for reporting and analytics
• Solid understanding of data warehousing and ETL processes
• Proficiency with SQL and relational database systems
• Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into technical deliverables
• Ability to lead Power BI initiatives from design through deployment
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Power BI or other business intelligence–related certifications
• Experience with Azure Data Services or cloud-based data platforms
• Exposure to machine learning or advanced analytics concepts
• Previous experience working in a cleared or federal environment
•Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a technical or analytics-related discipline
