Job Description
IG is seeking an Operational Research and Systems Analyst who will perform Technical Analysis, focusing on Unmanned Systems (UxS), Counter-Unmanned Systems (C-UxS), and Counter-small Unmanned Systems (C-sUxS) operations across various warfighting domains. This position will support JIATF 401 at the Mark Center in Alexandra, VA with potential temporary travel or deployment as customer needs dictate.
What You’ll Get to Do:
•Conduct all-source analysis and assist in the collection and dissemination of information to U.S. and coalition forces, on a need-to-know basis, concerning target device TTPs, technology, and safe handling procedures.
•Utilize various intelligence disciplines (e.g. TECHINT, SIGINT/CYBER, HUMINT, MASINT, etc.) from all levels of classified information.
•Provide high-level subject matter proficiency and advanced technical knowledge of highly specialized applications and technology support to DEVCOM C5ISR Center for counter-improvised threat devices, equipment, software, and training, this includes all manners of improvised threats from UxS/C-UxS.
•Provide journeyman level expertise and operational analysis for C-UxS/C-sUxS operations across one or more warfighting domains.
•Analyze service-specific requirements, operational concepts, and Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) for C-UxS/C-sUxS employment.
•Domain specializations include but are not limited to: Maritime operations (Navy Afloat and Army Watercraft), Fixed Site/Point and Base Defense operations (Air Force and Navy Ashore), and Ground operations (Dismounted and Mobile, Army and Marines).
•Conduct operational analysis of C-UxS/C-sUxS threats, vulnerabilities, and capability gaps within the assigned domain.
•Develop and recommend domain-specific C-UxS/C-sUxS solutions, integration strategies, and operational procedures.
•Coordinate with service component representatives, Joint staff, and interagency partners to ensure C-UxS/C-sUxS capabilities meet domain-specific operational requirements.
•Support test events, training exercises, and vulnerability assessments with domain expertise.
•Prepare analytical reports, briefings, and recommendations for senior leaders and stakeholders.
Compensation:
$45-49/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience
•Active TS//SCI Security Clearance.
•Requires completion of formal military intelligence school or IC equivalent school/training.
•BA/BS and 4+ years of experience; AA/AS with 8+ years; HS/GED with 10+ years of recent specialized experience.
•Demonstrated understanding of threat device engineering and function.
•Expert understanding of C-UxS layered defense.
•Proven ability to integrate UxS and C-UxS/C-sUxS TTPs into operational and intelligence planning.
•The ability to identify UxS to provide analysis to identify trends on target devices and TTPs.
•Possess strong research, analytical, and writing skills as well as briefing skills to include the ability to clearly articulate information to different audiences.
•Ability to generate/provide specialized analytical and technical products.
•Proficient in utilizing specialized tools to create final products.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
•Knowledge of and ability to perform analysis on the latest Commercial Based Technologies (CBT) and Emerging Technologies that could be utilized by advisories and articulate how use of that CBT would affect DoD capability.
•Detailed understanding of various UxS platforms (aerial, ground, maritime).
•Knowledge of C-UxS/C-sUxS detection, tracking, and mitigation technologies.
•Familiarity with electromagnetic spectrum operations related to C-UxS.
