Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a deputy engineering leader. The Deputy Engineering Leader is responsible for providing hands‑on technical leadership for Building Management System (BMS) and Electrical Monitoring and Control System (EMCS) projects in mission‑critical environments. This role leads the engineering execution of controls system, controller programming, and sequences of operation. The Deputy Engineering Leader serves as an expert for HVAC, mechanical, and integrated power systems, ensuring BMS and EMCS solutions meet performance, reliability, and quality standards. This person will mentor engineers and field technicians, coordinates engineering workloads, and partners closely with project managers to deliver scalable, resilient controls solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience with BMS(Building Management Systems) and controls engineering experience
• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• Advanced knowledge of HVAC and mechanical systems—including AHUs, CRAC/CRAH units, chillers, pumping systems, and VFD
• Strong experience with BMS systems such as Niagara, Siemens, or Schneider will work, preferably Niagara
• Strong understanding of BACnet/IP, Modbus, and IP‑based control networks which
• Comes from a mission critical facility (Data Center, military installation, hospital)
Experience managing technicians and engineers to provide technical expertise

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Masters in engineering preferred
