Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a tech specialist 2. This specialist perform point‑to‑point testing, support functional commissioning and Integrated Systems Testing (IST), and configure controllers and communication settings. You’ll work within BMS platforms to monitor system performance while collaborating with senior technicians and engineers to support the integration of HVAC and power equipment, execute test scripts, and complete commissioning documentation.

Required Skills & Experience

• 2–5 years of experience with BMS(Building Management Systems) or HVAC controls systems or EMCS(electrical monitor control systems)
• Hands‑on experience with startup, point‑to‑point testing, and basic functional testing
• Working knowledge of BMS systems such as Niagara, Siemens, or Schneider will work, preferably Niagara
• Basic understanding of BACnet/IP, Modbus, and IP‑based control networks which
• Ability to troubleshoot controllers, sensors, field devices, and HVAC equipment
• Familiarity with HVAC systems (AHUs, CRACs, chillers, VFDs)
Comes from a mission critical facility (Data Center, military installation, hospital)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors or Associates degree in an engineering space
