Principal Business Analyst

Insight Global is seeking a remote Principal Business Analyst. This individual will bring 6+ years of business analysis experience and will serve as a trusted partner to senior leaders, technology teams, and business stakeholders to drive clarity across complex, cross-functional initiatives. The Principal Business Analyst will lead advanced analysis efforts, shape solution direction, and ensure initiatives are aligned to organizational priorities while delivering measurable business value. This role also contributes to elevating analytical standards, influencing best practices, and strengthening enterprise-wide decision-making. The pay rate for this role ranges from $66-$68/hour.

• 6+ years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, data analysis, or a related discipline, with experience supporting complex or enterprise-scale initiatives
• Expert experience leading requirements elicitation, documentation, validation, and traceability across multi-system environments
• Proven ability to translate strategic business objectives into clear functional and technical requirements
• Strong experience documenting and analyzing current-state and future-state processes, data flows, integrations, and organizational impacts
• Experience conducting feasibility assessments, gap analyses, and cost-benefit evaluations to support business and technology decisions
• Ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments and bring structure to complex analytical challenges
• Experience supporting Agile or hybrid delivery models
• Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, including presenting insights and recommendations to senior leaders
• Experience partnering closely with product teams, UX, architecture, engineering, data, and QA teams
•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience

• Experience defining or influencing business analysis standards, governance models, or quality metrics
• Background mentoring or coaching other business analysts
• Experience supporting enterprise change initiatives or continuous improvement programs
• Familiarity with modern data platforms and tools (e.g., SQL-based platforms, Snowflake, Tableau, or similar)
• Experience contributing to data requirements, reporting specifications, or data architecture discussions
•Advanced degree in business, information systems, or a related field
