Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an Oracle EBS Financial Developer to join a state agency. This candidate is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting Oracle EBS Financial modules and related business processes. This position works closely with functional analysts, business users, and database administrators to enhance and maintain enterprise financial systems that support critical accounting and operational functions. The ideal candidate is a skilled Oracle EBS developer with deep experience supporting Financials (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger) and developing interfaces and integrations. This individual can translate business requirements into efficient, scalable technical solutions within the EBS framework and support complex financial operations. The pay rate is anywhere from 40-48 an hour, depending on the candidate's years of experience.

Key Responsibilities
Analyze, design, develop, optimize, and maintain customizations, extensions, and integrations for Oracle E-Business Suite Financial modules (primarily R12).
Support and enhance core financial modules, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL), along with custom-built processes within the Oracle application.
Work closely with finance and functional teams to gather requirements, document solutions, and implement enhancements aligned to financial business processes.
Develop and maintain PL/SQL packages, procedures, triggers, functions, and reports using Oracle development tools (TOAD, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, BI Publisher).
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues, performance problems, and data discrepancies.
Support data migration, interface design, and system integrations, including APIs, web services, and file-based integrations.
Coordinate regular system updates with DBAs and implement enhancements to meet operational requirements.
Ensure adherence to secure coding practices, change management standards, and IT governance policies.
Collaborate with DBAs, system administrators, and infrastructure teams to maintain reliable, high-performance environments.
Participate in full SDLC activities, including planning, testing, deployment, peer reviews, and post-implementation support.
Provide documentation and knowledge transfer for system enhancements and ongoing support.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years Oracle EBS development (R12 preferred)
Strong experience with Financials (AP, AR, GL)
Hands-on experience with integrations, interfaces, and data migration
Proficiency in PL/SQL, SQL, Forms/Reports, BI Publisher
Experience with EBS APIs, OA Framework (preferred)
Strong understanding of financial processes and systems
