Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with 5–10 years of experience, including 3–4 years in renewable energy. This role will lead electrical design efforts for solar and battery energy storage projects, supporting development from concept through construction.
Lead electrical design for solar PV and battery energy storage (BESS) systems
Develop conceptual and detailed design packages (one-lines, layouts, construction drawings)
Prepare solar array layouts using AutoCAD and PVcase
Design protection systems (fuses, breakers, relays, switching)
Support utility interconnection applications
Ensure designs meet NEC, IEEE, UL, and applicable codes. Salary conversion 120k-160k.

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of electrical design experience
3+ years in renewable energy projects
Proficiency in AutoCAD and engineering design software
Knowledge of NEC, IEEE, and utility-scale solar design
Experience with PV systems (central or string inverter-based)
Ability to obtain PE license within 2 years
