Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Network Automation Engineer to support a large-scale enterprise infrastructure environment. This role begins with a strong emphasis on hands-on network engineering, supporting Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN. The engineer will transition into automation work, partnering closely with the DevOps teams to modernize manual network processes through scripting and automation. The ideal candidate brings a solid CCNA/CCNP-level networking foundation, curiosity for automation, and the ability to bridge traditional network engineering with emerging DevOps practices.

This position can pay 50-60/hr based on experience.

Required Skills & Experience

- Strong network engineering background around 6+ years
- Hands-on experience supporting Cisco SD‑WAN environments
- Experience with Cisco Catalyst Center for monitoring, onboarding, or assurance
- Ability to support production enterprise networks with minimal downtime
- Experience turning up and supporting networks for field, industrial, or construction environments
- Exposure to network automation concepts including basic scripting experience utilizing Python, YAML, Ansible.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Active CCNA or CCNP
