Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a GitLab DevOps Engineers that will be responsible for pipeline architecture, runner management, and security integration, enabling teams to deliver software faster, more securely, and with greater reliability. This individual will partner closely with development, security, and infrastructure teams to automate builds, tests, scans, and deployments using GitLab as the central DevSecOps platform. This consultant will also be making recommendation on how to enhance productivity of the platform based on previous hands-on knowledge. We can offer $70hr-$100hr in compensation.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment. Additionally, employees in this role will have access to paid sick leave and other paid time off benefits as required under the applicable law of the worksite location.

Required Skills & Experience
Strong hands on experience with GitLab with primary focus on the build stage of the CI/CD pipeline looking for innovation and efficiencies here
Deep understanding of GitLab CI/CD and pipeline as code concepts
Proven experience managing GitLab Runners
Strong Linux experience (command line, troubleshooting, scripting)
Experience with Docker and containerized builds
Ability to integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines
Heavy Packet Management Experience
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Developing in C++ on a Linux OS
