Job Description

We are seeking experienced OSP Fiber Engineers with strong telecom outside plant expertise and GIS/geospatial capability to support expanding workloads on a large utility network. This role is highly field‑oriented and requires hands-on knowledge of fiber infrastructure, splicing design, scope-of-work writing, and the ability to work within GIS/Circuit Vision environments.

This position can pay up to $40/hr based on experience.

Required Skills & Experience

3+ years of OSP Telecom engineering experience (fiber-based)
Strong outside plant fiber knowledge
Ability to perform field work and verify fiber routes, assets, and construction environments
Familiarity with OSP construction methods
Ability to write Scopes of Work for fiber construction and upgrades
Basic to intermediate GIS/Geospatial experience (or the ability to train up quickly)
Experience using Circuit Vision, or ability to adapt from similar tools
Ability to design end-to-end fiber routes, including splice locations, splice documentation and routing
Experience with AutoCAD or like drafting tools
Willingness to travel within Virginia (no overnight travel)
