Job Description
Insight Global is hiring a District Manager on behalf of a luxury fashion retail client to oversee three stores across Virginia, Washington, DC, and Maryland, with future growth expected. This is a highly hands-on, field-based leadership role focused on in-store execution rather than desk-based work.
The District Manager will partner closely with Store Managers and Client Advisors to drive sales performance, develop talent, and ensure consistent brand and visual standards across locations. Responsibilities include coaching Store Managers, strengthening selling behaviors, maintaining visual merchandising excellence, and driving revenue across stores with varying volumes, luxury tiers, and customer bases.
The ideal candidate is a high-performing Store Manager or Dual-Store Manager ready to step into a multi-store leadership role within luxury retail.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
• Lead, coach, and develop Store Managers and in-store teams to achieve sales and performance targets
• Build strong leadership capability at the Store Manager level
• Provide ongoing feedback, training, and performance coaching on the sales floor
• Foster a collaborative, feedback-driven team culture
Business & Performance Management
• Own district-level revenue results and KPIs
• Analyze business performance for each store and the overall district
• Identify opportunities to improve sales, productivity, and operational effectiveness
• Ensure alignment with company goals and brand strategy
In-Store Operations
• Maintain a strong on-floor presence across all locations
• Monitor selling skills and customer experience standards
• Ensure visual merchandising and store presentation meet brand expectations
• Make practical, in-store adjustments to layouts and merchandising to optimize results
• Step in operationally as needed to support stores during peak or challenging periods
HR & Talent Management
• Manage hiring, interviewing, and onboarding processes for store-level roles
• Partner closely with HR on people-related matters
• Support performance management and talent development initiatives

Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of experience as a Store Manager or Dual‑Store Manager in fashion or luxury retail
- Proven experience managing and developing teams
- Hands‑on leadership style with strong operational and sales acumen
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across multiple store locations
- Comfortable being in‑store daily and working flexible schedules, including weekends as needed
- Strong communication skills and comfort providing direct feedback and coaching
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience managing multiple stores or supporting more than one location
- Luxury retail background with exposure to different customer profiles and store volumes
- Strong visual merchandising experience
- Experience with district‑level reporting and KPI analysis
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Fluency in structured operations (scheduling, reporting, training frameworks)
