Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to lead the design and evaluation of a future‑state learning technology ecosystem. This individual will play a critical role during a Tech Stack Discovery phase, partnering closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, consulting partners, and vendors to define a scalable, secure, and interoperable architecture.
This role requires 10+ years of experience at the Solutions Architect or Enterprise Architect level, along with prior hands‑on development experience and a strong enterprise architecture background, including cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure. Deep expertise in education technology platforms is essential, including required experience with Canvas LMS, as well as familiarity with EdTech interoperability standards such as LTI, xAPI, SCORM, Caliper, and CASE. The Senior Solutions Architect will assess the current technology landscape, define target‑state architectures, and translate learning strategy and business needs into practical, future‑ready solutions. The role will also provide strategic guidance across integrations, data and analytics, learning platforms, and emerging technologies such as AI to support a modern, scalable learning ecosystem. The pay range for this position ranges from $77-$80/hour, based on experience.

Required Skills & Experience
-10+ years of experience at the Solutions Architect or Enterprise Architect level, with prior hands‑on development experience.
-Strong enterprise architecture background, including cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure).
-Experience designing and integrating APIs, middleware, and distributed systems.
-Solid understanding of security principles and data privacy considerations in enterprise environments.
-Deep knowledge of education technology platforms and ecosystems.
-Hands‑on experience with Canvas LMS, including administration and Canvas API integrations.
-Familiarity with EdTech interoperability standards such as LTI, xAPI, SCORM, Caliper, and CASE.
-Experience supporting course content delivery, assessment systems, and learning analytics.
-Strong working knowledge of data and analytics ecosystems, including data warehouses, reporting, and basic AI/ML use cases.
-Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge business, IT, and vendor teams.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience with credentialing platforms, digital badges, or micro‑credential ecosystems.
• Exposure to AI applications in education (personalization, analytics, conversational tools).
• Experience with identity and access management in learning platforms (SSO, SAML, OAuth).
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2+) and inclusive design practices.
• Background supporting higher education, certification bodies, professional learning, or enterprise learning organizations.
