Job Description

The Bank Teller is responsible for delivering excellent customer service while accurately processing financial transactions. This role serves as the first point of contact for customers and plays a critical role in maintaining trust, accuracy, and compliance in daily banking operations.
Key Responsibilities

Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and check cashing
Balance cash drawer daily and maintain accuracy in all transactions
Provide friendly, professional customer service and address customer questions or concerns
Identify customer needs and refer clients to appropriate banking products or services
Adhere to all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Assist with opening and maintaining customer accounts as needed
Maintain confidentiality and protect customer financial information
Support branch operations, including answering phones and assisting team members during high‑volume periods

Required Skills & Experience

-1+ year in a banking role
-Strong attention to detail and accuracy
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and integrity
-Ability to work in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment
-Basic computer skills and comfort using banking systems
