Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a second shift CNC Milling machinist that is willing to learn and grow their craft being cross trained on multiple machines throughout their new machine shop. You will be supporting local shipyards with a variety of projects day to day.

Machinists will need to have exposure to shipyard materials and schematics across multiple material types, primarily Stainless Steel, Copper Nickel, Inconnel, Aluminum, Bronze, etc.

Working hours are four 10 hour days starting at 4:30pm with the option for occasional OT.

Pay Range: $25-$40 depending on experience

Required Skills & Experience

- 3+ years of experience with CNC milling machines (preferably Okuma mill machines)
- Proficient with a variety of metals such as: Stainless Steel, Copper-Nickel, Inconnel, Aluminum, and Bronze
- Ability to edit and troubleshoot programs (Familiarity with G codes)
- Read and interpret NAVSEA drawings

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Wire EDM experience
- 3 axis / 4 axis / 5 axis
- Cross trained on multiple machines
