Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Report Reviewer to support environmental and field operations through document review, auditing, and quality verification. This role is a mix of report review, procedural auditing, and field observation, ensuring that field technicians’ work and documentation meet required standards. This is a long-term contract role (2–3 years) with the potential to convert to full-time for the right candidate.
Work Schedule & Location

In-office: Monday–Thursday, 10-hour days
Occasional field work required
Steel-toe boots required for field visits

Key Responsibilities

Review and cross-check field reports for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
Audit field procedures and verify alignment with established processes
Conduct certification and documentation reviews
Maintain and support quality assurance procedures
Perform data analysis related to report quality and compliance
Participate in field familiarization to understand real-world activities behind the reports
Conduct periodic field audits to assess technician performance and adherence to procedures
Identify discrepancies, trends, and improvement opportunities in reporting and field execution.

Pay Range: $20-$39/HR

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent college coursework) in a technical or science-related field such as:

Environmental Science
Chemistry
Chemical Engineering
Or a related discipline


Strong attention to detail and ability to perform thorough cross-checking
Demonstrated ability to learn complex technical processes
Stable work history (no short-term job hopping)
Comfort working independently and managing detailed documentation

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience in:

Quality assurance or quality control
Auditing or compliance review
Data or analytical roles


Background in industrial environments such as:

Petrochemical
Chemical manufacturing
Utilities
Power generation


Knowledge of QA exams or certification processes (a plus, not required)
