Insight Global is seeking a System Architect to join a program supporting a large government customer. This person will be responsible for supporting and improving a secure infrastructure. Responsibilities include:
Lead data strategy and architecture for complex, high-impact systems, bringing together deep technical expertise and visionary thinking to deliver innovative simulation capabilities.
Design and implement sophisticated IT systems that are scalable, secure, and resilient, supporting some of the most demanding missions in the DoD environment.
Partner with stakeholders across major Defense programs, translating mission needs into robust system and data architectures.
Serve as a technical mentor and leader, developing and inspiring engineers and architects at all levels to deliver exceptional, high-quality solutions.
Drive Agile and DevOps practices, ensuring rapid, reliable delivery while continuously improving system performance and maintainability.
Own end-to-end architectural decisions, from data design and integration to application development, networking, and security.

Required Skills & Experience
Active TS or TS SCI
IAT Level II or higher
· A master’s degree minimum or at least 10 years of experience with data design in a consulting or internal role, defining data strategy and architectures while developing and mentoring staff at all levels to build and deliver high quality and highly innovative simulation services.
· At least 5 years of experience related to DoD major systems or programs.
· At least 3 years in a system architecture role.
· Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
· Proven experience in designing and implementing complex IT systems.
· Proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g.) Python, Java,C#).
· Excellent understanding of databases, networking, and security principles.
