Job Description

The Manufacturing Process Engineer / Process Leader is responsible for leading and optimizing machining, assembly, and related manufacturing processes to ensure high levels of quality, efficiency, and output. This role serves as a technical expert and key liaison between engineering, product development, and manufacturing, supporting both new product introductions and continuous improvement initiatives across the business unit.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field
• Demonstrated experience in machining, assembly, and/or manufacturing process engineering
• Strong hands‑on knowledge of mold tooling, die tooling, machining processes, and manufacturing tooling
• Experience supporting new product introduction (NPI) and production ramp‑up activities
• Working knowledge of manufacturing systems and tools such as SAP, TLM, CAD, or equivalent platforms
• Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, production, and R&D teams
• Experience executing or supporting small projects within a manufacturing environment

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience designing or implementing automated manufacturing solutions
• Familiarity with LEAN manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
• Working knowledge of engineering and quality tools such as:
Design of Experiments (DoE)
Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
Quality Function Deployment (QFD)
• Experience standardizing processes across multiple manufacturing sites
• Exposure to global or multi‑plant manufacturing environments
