Job Description
An employer is looking for a senior Network Engineer to sit in Arlington, VA. This candidate will be responsible for the design, migration, implementation, enhancement, optimization, and maintenance of infrastructure in the environment. They will work alongside the chief engineer to streamline the networking projects as well as aid in technical requirements with the Network Administrators. This person will be Interface with customers, vendors, and other technical staff to analyze business and technical requirements (i.e. establishing new circuits) as well as collaborate with key partners in various technologies to de-conflict efforts, identify innovation opportunities, gain efficiency while increasing operability.
Compensation:
$65/hr to $75/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience
Active TSSCI and ability to get a CI Poly
BS degree and 8-12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10-13 years of prior relevant experience.
IAT Level II Baseline Certification (e.g. CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP)
Technical depth in network services and architecture (WAN/LAN/virtual private network (VPN))
Experience developing solutions and troubleshooting within Cisco Switches and routers like S2S connections, DMVPNs, and advanced routing - BGP
Experience working and configuration with Palo Alto Firewalls
AWS experience specifically with network design and implementations for Virtual Private Cloud (VPCs), Route 53, and Amazon Firewall Services
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Active TSSCI CI Poly
Prior experienced with DISA and DISA’s support to mission partners
Proficient in cloud hosted networks
Master’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field
