Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an Electrical Engineer III to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD). This team performs advanced research, development, and systems engineering to ensure warfighter superiority across training systems, cyber warfare, fleet readiness, and sustainment solutions for the U.S. Navy—specifically supporting Submarine Fleet systems across their full lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform systems engineering activities on COE and EW programs supporting military intelligence operations
• Support integration of tactical electronic systems across U.S. Navy platforms
• Analyze system impacts related to:
o Distribution systems
o Mission performance
o Interoperability
• Support COE/EW deployment concepts and operational use
• Apply RF engineering principles to design, analysis, and system performance evaluation
• Work within Windows and Linux operating systems environments
• Collaborate with cross functional engineering and program teams to ensure system effectiveness and compliance

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline
• Active TS/SCI clearance
• 6+ years of full time professional experience as an Electrical/Electronic Engineer
• 4+ years of experience in:
o Systems engineering on COE or EW programs
o Fully integrated tactical systems for military intelligence missions (ashore and afloat)
o Engineering support for U.S. Navy and warfare systems, including systems integration impacts on mission performance and interoperability
• 3+ years of experience in:
o COE/EW concepts and operational deployment
• Radio Frequency (RF) design and analysis, including:
o Propagation prediction and measurement
o Receiver modeling and analysis
o Signal detection and characterization
o Non cooperative demodulation of signals of interest
o Antenna array modeling
• Operating systems: Windows and Linux
