Job Description

We are looking for a NDE Manager Level 3 that will be responsible for team of 2 that consists of a variety of one NDT Level 1 and a NDT Level 2. Your responsibilities will consist of working alongside outside customers, identifying their needs, and coordinating all NDT work internally.

This will require familiarity with business development alongside strong technical capabilities to ensure top quality work. You will be responsible for the following:

- Oversight of NDT personnel and growing the team
- Coordinating incoming work
- Ensuring quality among personnel and procedure compliance
- Quote external work and understanding the technical requirements to complete the scope of work
- Creating internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all existing and incoming contracts, helping streamlines process

Work hours: Four 10 hour days starting at 7am

Pay Range: $150,000 - $175,000

Required Skills & Experience

- 10 years of NDT experience
- Current ASNT Level 3 in UT and one additional qualification acceptable for ASNT TC-1A (PT, RT, MT, and UT)
- Must be able to pass the ASNT Level 3 Shipbuilders Examination and Methods test within 90 days
- Oversight of the Welder Workmanship Program in accordance with Tech Pub 248. and Experience with NAVSEA Tech Pub 271
- Familiarity with associated fabrication and welding documents such as Tech Pub 1688 Rev 0 and 1688 Rev1, Mil Std 1689A(SH), PPD 7094539 Rev VD.1, Tech Pub 278, and NSTM Chapter 074.)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Shipbuilding or Navy experience
- All Methods of qualifications (PT, RT, MT, UT, and Xray)
