Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a System Operations Technician to support one of our enterprise clients. This role functions across multiple IT departments and business units, providing system monitoring, issue diagnosis, and operational support across multiple iSeries (AS/400) LPARs. The technician will play a key part in maintaining system performance, resolving issues, managing ticket workflow, and supporting end‑users in both corporate and field environments. The pay rate for this position is $22-26hr depending years of experience.

Required Skills & Experience

- 3–4 years of system operations experience in a multi‑system iSeries environment
- Experience handling operational issues within a System Operations department.
- Strong understanding of computer systems and basic networking concepts.
- Experience using ticketing systems for incident documentation and escalation.
- Ability to work in a high‑volume environment with multiple priorities.
