Director of Business Analysis

Insight Global is looking for a permanent Director of Business Analysis for a Not-For-Profit client in the Arlington, VA area. This role will lead the business operations analysis team with integration and optimization of member and non-member facing applications and data systems. They will oversee application development, implementation, and maintenance to support strategic business goals. This will inclue managing business intelligence, data analytics, and system architecture respective to the BA team functions to ensures alignment with organizational infrastructure, user experience standards, and One IT standards.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of business analysts.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them to technology solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define, test, and deploy new systems.
• Evaluate business processes and recommend improvements.
• Oversee application upgrades and integration with existing infrastructure.
• Manage data exchange, reporting, and analytics across internal and external systems.
• Develop and monitor application budgets; manage vendor relationships.
• Maintain accurate documentation of systems and data flows in conjunction with the data team.
• Support strategic automation and web development initiatives.
• Ensure close alignment and collaboration with CIO and peers.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience; 3–5 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise applications and data environments.
• Proven leadership, project and vendor management, and communication skills.
• Experience with cross-departmental software implementations.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and drive organizational goals.
• Up to 25% travel required to the Asheville, SC office.
