Job Description
Insight Global is looking to hire an AI Architect to define, design, and lead the implementation of AI capabilities that drive mission value, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen decision-making. This role serves as the program’s AI Subject Matter Expert (SME)—responsible for setting the strategic vision, shaping policy, and guiding the technical and functional direction of all AI initiatives.
This leader will partner across engineering, product, and customer-facing teams to identify mission challenges, develop appropriate AI use cases, and ensure the ethical, secure, and effective use of AI technologies. The role requires a broad understanding of AI concepts—not just expertise in a single tool or framework—and the ability to build and guide a new AI practice from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Setting AI Strategy: Defining program-wide AI strategy, architectures, standards, and roadmaps; identifying high‑value AI use cases that improve efficiency, reduce cost, and lower risk.
- Designing AI Solutions: Architecting and developing AI solutions using ML, NLP, LLMs, computer vision, and cloud-based AI services.
- Creating AI Policy: Developing and communicating clear AI policies aligned with federal and commercial guidance, ensuring ethical and secure AI use.
- Developing Teams: Identifying required skillsets, supporting hiring, mentoring team members, and upskilling program staff on AI concepts and best practices.
- Evaluating AI Capabilities: Assessing AI technologies, analyzing business problems, guiding R&D, and providing data-driven recommendations that shape program direction.
Compensation:
$83.00/hr to $93.00/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment. Additionally, employees in this role will have access to paid sick leave and other paid time off benefits as required under the applicable law of the worksite location.
