Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Software Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be tasked with developing, testing, and debugging new software, as well as enhancing existing applications. You will leverage your understanding of business applications, user requirements, performance, quality, interface, and security to support a forensic and investigative ecosystem across multiple enterprise applications within a multi-enclave environment.

Required Skills & Experience

Requirements:


Must possess an active TS clearance at the time of application, be willing and able to obtain SCI access, and pass a CI polygraph.
This position is onsite 5/days a week in Chantilly, VA
May require occasional travel for Program Increment planning sessions
Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of software development experience.
Advanced proficiency with Python and experience with Django.
Experience with the SAFe Agile framework.
Strong understanding of forensic and investigative data requirements.
Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing software solutions in secure government environments.
Required Technical Skills:

Experience developing Single Page Applications with React.
Substantial experience with GraphQL and React Relay.
Experience with NodeJS.
Advanced proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks.
Experience with Redis caching.
Experience with message brokers such as RabbitMQ.
Proficiency in Lucene-based search/indexing platforms like Elasticsearch and Apache Solr.
Expertise in containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Proficient with cloud platforms (AWS GovCloud, SC2S, C2S).
Skilled in API design, versioning, and integration best practices.
Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and tools.
Additional Technical Experience:

Proficiency with Python and Django.
Data processing, automation, and ETL workflow orchestration.
Log analytics and observability platforms, specifically Splunk.
Working in classified environments.
Responsibilities:

Develop, test, and debug new software solutions and enhance existing applications.
Collaborate with technical staff to understand and resolve software issues.
Address customer complaints and implement suggestions for software improvements.
Design, test, and secure desktop applications, integrating with standard software packages.
Integrate with automated patching and deployment technologies.
Assist in the development of software user manuals.
Document all applications, services, and environments for future maintenance.
Automate application and configuration deployments and updates.
Participate in Program Increments (PIs) and Agile Release Train (ART) activities.
Support multi-enclave environments (Unclassified, Secret, and Top Secret).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless software integration.
