Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a IT Help Desk Technician working for a large healthcare company in the Hampton Roads area. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provide frontline support to end-users, addressing IT-related inquiries and troubleshooting technical issues promptly.
Escalate complex issues to senior support personnel or appropriate teams for timely resolution.
Maintain and update documentation of common issues and resolutions to enhance the efficiency of the support process.
Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless communication and issue resolution.
Contribute to the improvement of IT support processes and procedures.
Assist in training and mentoring junior helpdesk agents.
Monitor and respond to IT support tickets, prioritizing based on urgency and impact on business operations.
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and issue resolution.
Compensation: $20/hr. to $25/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience
Previous experience in a junior IT helpdesk or technical support role.
Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of IT infrastructure, hardware, and software systems.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Certifications in relevant IT areas (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation) is a plus.
