Job Description
Growth & Pipeline Development
• Identify, assess, and qualify new business opportunities aligned with Client strategic priorities and core capabilities.
• Develop and manage a robust FedCiv opportunity pipeline, ensuring disciplined gate reviews and accurate forecasting.
• Drive opportunity shaping activities, including customer engagement, competitive positioning, and win strategy development.
Capture Management
• Lead capture efforts for assigned opportunities, including capture planning, stakeholder mapping, customer intelligence gathering, and teaming strategies.
• Coordinate with internal technical, operational, and leadership stakeholders to define solutions and value propositions.
• Own win themes and discriminators from capture through proposal submission.
Proposal Support
• Partner closely with the proposal team to support proposal development, ensuring alignment with capture strategy.
• Contribute to proposal outlines, executive summaries, and compliance reviews as needed.
• Participate in color reviews and post-submission debriefs.
Customer & Industry Engagement
• Represent Client in customer meetings, industry days, and government-sponsored events.
• Actively participate in GovCon networking events, conferences, and association meetings in the DC area and nationally as required.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with government decision-makers, integrators, and teaming partners.
Collaboration & Leadership
• Work closely with executive leadership to refine growth strategy and market focus.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior growth or capture staff as applicable.
• Maintain disciplined CRM and pipeline management practices.

Required Skills & Experience
-• 10+ years of experience in federal government contracting growth, capture, or business development roles.
• Demonstrated FedCiv experience, with experience at least 2 of the following agencies: U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Department of Transportation (DOT), General Services Administration (GSA), Department of Commerce, Department of Education, or Department of Labor
-Proven experience managing opportunities end-to-end: identification, qualification, capture, and proposal support.
- Prior experience working at mid-sized GovCon firms ($25M–$150M in revenue).
-Ability to come on site daily
-Comfortable with a variable income based on awards
