Job Description

Insight Globalseeks an IT GRC Analyst with practical AI governance experience to help build AI standards, privacy controls, and compliance structures across a higher education university in the Greater Richmond area
.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain AI governance standards, policies, and risk controls.
Assess AI tools for privacy, compliance, and ethical considerations.
Support overall IT governance, risk assessments, and compliance activities.
Provide guidance and documentation for responsible AI use across campus.

This position requires candidates to work 2 days onsite and 3 days remote and pays between $42-50/hr

Required Skills & Experience

- Experience with AI governance, especially around privacy and compliance (if they do not have direct work experience, preferably strong AI certifications or projects.)
- Background in IT governance, risk, and compliance.
- Experience building or maturing governance frameworks
- Strong understanding of higher‑ed data/privacy considerations.
- Clear communication skills for technical and non‑technical audiences.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Experience in Higher Education or State agencies
