Job Description

We are seeking a skilled project manager to support infrastructure projects ranging from $100k to $1M, covering areas such as WAN / circuit connectivity for remote facilities, data center, building renovations, security architecture, network configuration and upgrades. Projects may include outside vendors and PM manages those contracts.

This position can pay $60/hr.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experienced managing major projects in large corporate or enterprise environments. Responsible for budgets of at least $3M and teams of at least 15 people.
•Driver, not a passenger: Demonstrated owner with accountability for project success. Not a facilitator, coordinator, or project historian.
•Must have experience with waterfall / predictive methodologies
•Accountable for managing budgets and resource plans.
•Skilled at developing project schedule and budget estimates, tracking against them and reporting progress.
•Demonstrated understanding of project risk management.
•Experienced with process for selecting vendor through RFP, negotiating SOW and managing vendor performance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills at all organization levels, including senior leadership.
•Experienced establishing and maintaining project governance plan including working with project sponsor, steering committee and stakeholders.
•Must be proficient with Microsoft Project. MS Project Online and SAP user experience are beneficial.
•PMP certification

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

•Preference for candidate with prior utility experience
•MUST have previous experience in regulated industry
•Six-sigma blue or black
