Job Description
This position will report directly to the Facility Engineering Team Leader and will be responsible for providing engineering services to safely meet the location’s business plan by providing engineering support to production, maintenance, and administrative departments to achieve plant goals.
Job Summary:
Applies engineering principles to design, modify, or develop facilities, testing, machines, equipment, or processes used in manufacturing and facility maintenance in order to advance technology or productivity of operations.
Manage Capital and expense projects to develop scopes and budgets, maintain quality communications, completion schedules and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Specify new production equipment or modifications to existing equipment.
Develop functional specifications.
Work with suppliers and contractors on procurement and implementation of production equipment and infrastructure support.
Test newly installed machines and equipment to ensure fulfillment of contract specifications.
Provide maintenance engineering and troubleshooting assistance.
Generate contract scope of work documents and cost estimates.
Oversee contractor work and monitor safe work practices.
Act as single point accountable person for EHS policies.
Comply with Company, Federal, and State EHS policies.
Occasional travel required

Required Skills & Experience
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
Minimum 3 years' experience in mechanical project engineering within a manufacturing environment.
Experience with ACAD and Inventor design software
Proficient with Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Project software
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical control systems in a diverse industrial environment
Ability to rapidly grasp concepts and understand processes
Ability to multitask
Familiarity with a wide variety of facility infrastructure systems
Experience with Investment Casting
