Job Description
Our client is looking for a Concrete Foreman to support a civil construction project in Virginia Beach. This person will be overseeing a team of 8-12 people.
Day to day:
- Communicating and delegating towards crew
- Build and place formwork for walls and slabs
- Inspect equipment and rigging on a daily basis
- Conduct toolbox talks
- Maintain a safe environment
- Strong machine operating experience
- Control quantities and tools needed for work in the future
- Read and understand shop drawings
- Schedule concrete pours

Required Skills & Experience
- 1+ year of experience as a foreman, overseeing a crew, in heavy civil construction or earthworks projects
- Previous civil construction experience
- Experience overseeing a crew
- Flexibility to work outside of set hours&weekends
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Tunnel experience
- Surveying experience
