Job Description
The Fine Grade Operator is responsible for operating heavy equipment such as motor graders,
bulldozers, and other grading machinery to achieve precise final grade specifications on
construction sites. This role requires attention to detail, an understanding of site plans, and the
ability to work efficiently and safely in various site conditions. This is an onsite position in Richmond, VA.
Key Responsibilities
• Operate motor graders, bulldozers, and other equipment to achieve grading tolerances.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, grade stakes, and GPS-guided systems
• Perform fine grading of soil, gravel, and other materials to prepare surfaces for paving,
curb, sidewalk, or other installations.
• Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance of assigned equipment.
• Follow all safety regulations and company safety policies

Required Skills & Experience
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Physically demanding including lifting 50+ lbs., standing, and bending
• Requires early mornings, long hours, and occasional weekends depending on project
needs
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• OSHA 10 or 30-hour certification
• First Aid/CPR certification
• Equipment operator certification(s)
