Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Site Support Specialist to join the Richmond Service Center team at GE Vernova. This role is focused on supporting the site’s SQCD (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost) performance through facilities and safety-related tasks and projects. The specialist will work closely with both internal teams and external contractors, ensuring all work aligns with GE Vernova’s standards and procedures. The position requires a proactive, independent worker who can manage multiple priorities and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
• • Translate site needs (from shop floor and office personnel, “EHS and Quality concerns”, work orders and project authorization requests) into specific tasks and projects
• Understand the site tools and processes for task and project identification and completion, implement these tools effectively, and actively coach team members on the effective use of these tools.
• Prioritize and visibly track completion of tasks and projects.
• Provide support as needed to the site Maintenance, Facilities and Capital Leader, and other site leaders.
• Understand and promote site and GE Vernova Safety policies, procedures, and expectations, especially for contractor and project work.
• Provide oversight of all relevant contractor work for safe and cost-effective work completion, including filling the role of primary site field contract administrator.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ Years in facilities, maintenance, or construction
• Industrial experience including facilities, maintenance, and/or construction.
• Proven record of safe and effective delivery of project activity and facility improvement.
• Strong mechanical aptitude (i.e. intuitive understanding of mechanical processes).
• Proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook).
