Job Description
Insight Global is seeking two PeopleSoft Business Analysts. One of them should specialize in the Accounts Payable module and the other in the Expenses module. These individuals will be supporting a project for the State of Virginia from a Tier 2 techno-functional perspective. The Accounts Payable focused BA will be responsible for vendor management, voucher processing, purchasing integration, and payment processing. They will also be responsible for the following modules.
Responsibilities
Lead help desk tickets, troubleshoot software, document issues, and assist end users.
Collaborate with Tier 3 developers for system changes and unit testing.
Conduct system/regression testing before migration.
Update job aids and oversee training material changes.
Provide detailed, accurate, and timely status of tasks, issues, and help desk tickets.
Configure and maintain PeopleSoft Accounts Payable module.
Establish and maintain vendors.
Enter and process vouchers.
Integrate with Purchasing for matching.
Process payments and 1099 forms.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and business requirements.
Monitor transactions and data flows to identify inefficiencies or errors.
Work with developers on customizations, reports, and third-party integrations.
Support approval workflow processes.
The BA focused on the Expenses module will have experience with expense processing, cash advances, travel authorizations and the following responsibilities.

Manage cash advances and travel authorizations.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and business requirements.
Monitor expense transactions and data flows to identify inefficiencies or errors.
Work with developers on customizations, reports, and third-party integrations.
Support approval workflow processes.
The target pay rate for this position is between $55-65/hr and is based on years of experience. You will be expected to work onsite 3 days per week in Richmond, VA.

Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience as a PeopleSoft focused Business Analyst
Well-versed in Peoplesoft v9.2 in the Accounts Payable OR Expenses Modules
Experience in SDLC lifecycle (design, development, and testing of Peoplesoft object (reports, interfaces, conversion programs, extensions/modifications)
Experience using People Tools
Able to read SQL and PeopleCode
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience working for a state agency
Experience with a PUM (PeopleSoft Update Manager)
