Job Description

A large concrete construction company's equipment branch is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Equipment & Materials Coordinator to support project operations across multiple departments. This role involves managing equipment and material needs, including vendor communication, purchase orders, delivery tracking, and returns. The coordinator will maintain logs, prepare rental reports, process invoices, and resolve vendor disputes while serving as a key point of contact for project teams and shop personnel. A strong focus on safety, customer service, and teamwork is essential, along with the ability to work in both office and field environments. Candidates should be physically capable of maneuvering on construction sites and lifting up to 50 lbs. Required Skills & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required; minimum of 2 years of related experience (and/or training)
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Willingness to work in both office and field environments, including exposure to weather and warehouse conditions
Ability to read and interpret business documents, technical procedures, plans, and shop drawings
Excellent communication and customer service skills; ability to respond to questions from coworkers, managers, clients, and customers
Ability to work in a team environment and provide strong support to internal and external customers
Familiarity with industry jargon

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Bi-lingual skills
Prior experience in equipment/material coordination or construction support
CPR and First Aid Certification, OSHA 10-hour training, or other career-related training
Experience with vendor management, invoice processing, and supporting multiple departments or a large customer base
Strong mathematical skills (fractions, percentages, ratios, proportions)
