Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Secret Senior Systems Network Engineer in Dahlgren Virginia. This Engineer requires a Secret Security Clearance, Network Plus, and an IAT Level II certification. They will be responsible for monitoring and assessing network requirements, network performance, availability, and upgrades, routing, and wiring, and ensuring consistent network configurations and implementations within computing environments and the infrastructure backbone. This Engineer must have 10+ years of experience with managing Cisco Prime Infrastructure and configuring Cisco routers and switches, as they will be supporting campus networks and WAN infrastructures. A strong understanding of TCP/IP protocol analysis is also important. This role requires experience with examining communication networks as well as strong documentation skills to design and implement test strategies to ensure infrastructure and systems meet operational needs. The pay range for this candidate ranges from $63-$65/hour, depending on experience.

Required Skills & Experience
• Secret Clearance, Network Plus, and IAT Level II Certification
• 10+ years of experience with managing Cisco Prime Infrastructure and configuring Cisco routers, wiring, and switches, to support campus networks and WAN infrastructures
• Strong background in monitoring and assessing network requirements, network performance and availability
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP protocol analysis, DNS, 802.1x, ACLs, ARP, RADIUS, IPv6, DHCP, Authentication, Intrusion Prevention, and ISP circuit connections
• Experience with examining communication networks
• Strong project management documentation skills to design and implement test strategies to ensure infrastructure and systems meet operational needs and report to their team
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Working within a DNA or Catalyst center
