Job Description:
Insight Global's prescription center client is looking for a Respiratory Therapist to assist them part-time. This person will provide respiratory care services to patients and collaborate with medical and direct care staff regarding therapy techniques and procedures. This person will perform duties in accordance with industry standards and regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
· Deliver and coordinate respiratory therapy services for patients.
· Educate patients and/or caregivers on the proper and safe use of respiratory equipment.
· Promote the company's respiratory services to referral sources and the healthcare community.
· Perform quality assurance and maintenance services on respiratory equipment per manufacturer guidelines.
· Follow infection control procedures per U.S. Department of Labor standards (Title 29 CFR 1910.1030).
· Instruct patients and caregivers on equipment cleaning and infection control.
· Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, Medicare Quality Standards, and AARC (American Association for Respiratory Care) guidelines.
· Manage patient admissions, care plans, and discharges related to respiratory services.
· Maintain accurate documentation for equipment maintenance and therapy services.
· Coordinate with physicians to obtain necessary prescriptions and orders.
· Complete all required forms for government reimbursement and forward documentation to the billing department.
· Provide in-service training for staff on respiratory equipment usage and protocols.

Valid state license as a Respiratory Therapist.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Knowledge of medical terminology.
Valid drivers license.
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
Education & Experience:
Associate degree or higher from an accredited respiratory therapy program.
