Job Description

Insight Global is seeking marine electricians to support a client in Newport News, VA. This candidate will have experience troubleshooting motor controllers, heaters, fan motors, and control circuits, and be knowledgeable in interpreting naval schematics and technical manuals. The hours are Monday-Friday, 6 am - 2:30 pm EST, and the pay ranges between $18-$27/hr.

Required Skills & Experience

2-4 years of experience as an electrician in the shipyard space.
Experience troubleshooting and testing fan motors, control circuits, motor controllers, and solenoids.
Knowledgeable in navy schematics and can interpret technical manuals.
Experience in operational testing on Navy electrical systems.
Experience using meters and meggers for electrical testing.
Active OSHA Maritime 10 certification.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Former electrician's mate in the Navy.
