Job Description

Pay Range: $25-45hr

Insight Global is looking for experienced Field Engineers to support the implementation of Voice over IP (VoIP) systems and the decommissioning of legacy Time Division Multiplexing (TDM) infrastructure at military installations across Germany and other OCONUS locations

Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and test VoIP telephony systems and ancillary equipment
Decommission and remove legacy TDM systems and infrastructure
Perform site preparation including rack installation, cable routing, and power setup
Conduct hardware/software upgrades and system troubleshooting
Generate installation documentation, including Red Line drawings and reports
Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely and accurate implementation

Required Skills & Experience

Required Qualifications:
Active SECRET clearance
5+ years of experience in telecom installation (rack/stack, low-voltage cabling)
Strong understanding of VoIP systems and analog telephony infrastructure
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in confined spaces
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Preferred Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in telecom or power systems
Familiarity with Cisco, Avaya, and Nortel PBX systems
Knowledge of AC/DC power systems and DISN implementation standards
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Visio
Experience troubleshooting both TDM and VoIP systems
