We are seeking a licensed Professional Engineer (Virginia Electrical) to serve as the Engineer of Record for a Northern Virginia (NoVA) telecom construction team. This role focuses on overseeing engineering aspects of telecom infrastructure projectsexcluding electrical workand plays a key part in project execution from design through closeout.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as Engineer of Record for telecom construction projects
- Oversee engineering for underground conduit construction and fiber installation
- Collaborate with customers to define and refine scopes of work
- Participate in project bidding and estimating processes
- Coordinate with internal teams (design, survey, environmental) to ensure quality and compliance
- Review and QA design packages
- Manage project closeout documentation
- Work closely with 45 team members, including two design supervisors
- Support a portfolio of active projects with a strong backlog

- Active PE license in Electrical Engineering (Virginia)
- Background in telecom construction (mid-level experience preferred)
- Team-oriented, adaptable, and proactive mindset
Familiarity with dry utility construction
