Insight Global is seeking detail-oriented Mechanical Construction Inspectors who will oversee various aspects of construction projects, ensuring compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and specifications. This role supports a commercial chiller and HVAC upgrade project. Supporting Architect of the Capitol, this position offers the unique opportunity to work on some the most historic and iconic buildings in the nation.
Day-to-Day:
Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and standards.
Verify that materials and equipment meet project specifications and approved standards.
Utilize construction management software to track project progress, document inspections, and manage schedules.
Assist in the approval process for materials and equipment, ensuring they meet project requirements.
Monitor labor activities to ensure adherence to safety protocols and project timelines.
Enforce safety regulations and conduct safety audits to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
Review and approve safety plans and procedures submitted by contractors.
Address any safety concerns promptly and effectively.
Prepare detailed inspection reports, including findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, approvals, and any issues encountered during the project.
Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including contractors, engineers, and the project management team.
