Insight Global is searching for a Technology Development Development R&D Chemist who will be responsible for designing and optimizing formulations for petroleum additives. . The successful candidate will play a critical role in the development and optimization of new and existing petroleum additives. This position requires a strong background in organic chemistry, innovative thinking, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic research environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct research and development of new organic compounds for use in petroleum additives.
Design and execute experiments to synthesize, characterize, and evaluate the performance of new additives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies into product development.
Analyze data and interpret results to guide the direction of research projects.
Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate findings to stakeholders.
Stay current with industry trends, scientific literature, and advancements in organic chemistry and petroleum additives.
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations in all laboratory activities.

- PhD in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering ( This is an entry-level to early-career PhD level position.)
- Knowledge and experience on manufacturing techniques and engineering requirements, synthesis/production of organic and organometallic materials, kinetic and mechanism studies, and organic material characterizations.
